We put Kiehl’s first-ever mascara, Marvelous Mineral Mascara—launched this month—to the test and were nothing but thrilled. This eco- and eye-friendly lash enhancer (and conditioner) delivers. Great application—no clumping, no flaking. A new fav for even the most picky of mascara mavens! Available at all Kiehl’s locations; $16.50.

Skin Refresher

Also tested was the newest product to claim to rescue dull and tired-looking skin, in a jiff: Vitamin Power Emergency Booster from My Blend (Clarins’s line of personalized lotions and creams). Designed to be injected (note nifty syringe-like packaging) and blended into My Blend’s Essential Blend, the Booster delivers a mega-dose of vitamins and Omega fatty acids to immediately restore skin. We’re not going to shout, “Miracle Cure!,” but our skin did feel noticeably refreshed and hydrated (and on deadline no less!). Available at Studio at Fred Segal, Santa Monica; $45 for 1.5 ml.

Skin Shine

Also new for April, La Mer launches its newest in luxury skin care: The Body Refiner exfoliater, which sloughs skin with, oh yes!, diamond dust. A couple weeks of testing did leave skin feeling lusciously smooth, and who, who I ask!, doesn’t delight in covering herself in diamonds?! Available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman; $110 for 200 ml.
