Catholic Charities CYO hosted its 11th annual Loaves & Fishes Leadership Fund and Awards Dinner
at the Westin St. Francis. Over $1.5 million was raised to benefit the Bay Area’s neediest people
via CYO’s 33 social service programs.

Honoring Dean Alan Jones

Grace Cathedral held its 22nd annual Supper Dance at the Fairmont Hotel. The event honored Dean Alan Jones
who will be retiring in early ’09 after 24 years at the Cathedral. Proceeds raised from the Dance
benefited the Cathedral’s ministries and community events.

Bouquets To Art

The galleries of the de Young Museum housed 150 floral displays that interpreted the form, color or themes of
paintings and sculptures in the Museum’s collection. The 24th annual Bouquets to Art was produced by
volunteer members of the Fine Arts Museums of SF’s Auxiliary, funds raised from the event benefited
acquisitions, traveling exhibitions and educational programs.
