Event Photo Submission Guidelines

Digital Images
You may submit digital images on a CD or Zip disk as JPG’s. All images should be 200dpi (or more) and in color. If you have 1 or 2 images you can email them to shara@nobhillgazette.com. Please don’t email more than 2 images. If you have more than 2 pictures, put them on a CD or Zip and mail them to the address listed below. All CD and Zip disks should include a print-out of the images they contain.

Prints
All color prints should have the subjects’ names written on the back (or on Post-its, if your pen makes a mark that shows through), reading from left to right. Please submit bright, clear, uncluttered images that will reproduce well.

Captions
Be sure to ID everyone in each picture from left to right with first and last names correctly spelled. Make sure all your chairs and honorees are so identified. It helps us if you type this info (on a separate page) rather than writing it, and if you include a press release or copy of the invitation. We also appreciate pertinent info, such as how much money was raised at a fundraiser.

Returns
If you’d like your images returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. All materials will be returned after 30 days.

All photographs are considered for publication on a space available basis. Please email shara@nobhillgazette.com for a form to fill out or you may call us at 227-0190 and we will fax it to you.

Press Releases/Calendar Listings
We are pleased to list select charity events and fundraisers; the deadline for submission is the 15th of the month before the event occurs. Due to the large volume of press releases we receive, we are unable to acknowledge each submission. You may submit your information by mail, fax, or E-mail:

All charitable organizations are welcomed to submit a written media sponsorship request to the Nob Hill Gazette. Please include the following items in your letter to us.
    • A concise event description, including purpose and beneficiary
    • Date of pre-party and gala event
    • Contact information
