The Little Jim Club of California Pacific Medical Center launches its 114th fundraising season with the launch party for its 58th annual Mardi Gras Ball, March 5, 2010 at the Palace Hotel. The pre-party for the ball will be held November 5, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at Joan Davis Studios, 3 Henry Adams Street, SF Design Center. The cocktail party and fundraiser honors this year’s candidates for Monarch of the Ball. Pre-party revelers will view Joan élan Davis’ beautiful paintings while sipping wine and enjoying hors d’ oeuvres. There is a special raffle for one of the paintings. Tickets are $30 and $35 and can be purchased at ljcsf.org or acteva.com/booking.cfm?bevaid=190706.
