Dear Readers,
The Galas pre-season is here! Even the air has more buzz. If you’re going to attend the Opera and the Symphony openings I’ll bet your beauty appointments have all been made. For a lot of us, just watching all the action is amusing as well. So here goes—the Gazette’s sneak preview.
In our August issue we have fashion—our annual fantasy drawing of gowns and the people who should wear them as conceived by a talented fashion student at the Academy of Art University; this year Ashon Sylvester. A fall forecast of fashion favorites by Jennifer Raiser. And we have fun following around a SF fashion icon as she prepares for the galas. (How does she do it?) Speaking of operas, Georgia Hess wrote an enchanting story about perhaps the most fairy tale–esque opening night of all, the Vienna Opera.
Add to this eclectic mix our regular features on fitness, health, wine, and wheels—and don’t forget the exclusive pictures within. Choose your favorite beverage, sit down, and enjoy this issue. You gotta love it!
Air kisses to you all,
Lois
P.S. A friend of mine reminded me to tell you to click to our digital edition from our Website’s homepage (nobhillgazette.com). You can e-mail any or all of the pages of the issue to friends and family. She sent the whole July issue to family in England. (Of course, her picture was in it!)
