This is our thirty-second September and we’re delighted to be here to see it, and you! We’ve all had to go back to basics reassessing our businesses and re-planning our futures (in spite of all the high drama reportage).
We’re pleased to report on the health of our Bay Area community: the continuation of generous philanthropic giving, the health of our real estate community, the latest in what’s haute, and spotlight the people who make it all happen.
Inside, in addition to our monthly columnists, you’ll find fabulous features. A home tour of the Gold Coast (San Francisco’s Outer Broadway) both historically and hysterically. Gladys Perint Palmer’s unique look at Paris fashion (as hysterical as it is insightful). And loads of pictures of you all at play (some of these pics are pretty funny, too).
For higher drama, note that the Opera and Symphony are having their galas this month. (We’ll report heavily on all this in the October issue.)
It’s time to enjoy ourselves, time to step out fully glitzed. (The Gazette-sponsored Opera Ball is sold out; we wish the same for all of the worthy galas!)
Our cameras are ready; smile pretty.
Lois
