Compassion & Choices Luncheon
Thirty-seven empowered women met at the home of Lisa Goldman for lunch, provided by McCall’s, and an inspiring talk by Dr. Jennifer Brokaw, daughter of TV journalist Tom Brokaw. The subject was Compassion & Choices, a national Death with Dignity organization that seeks to advocate and educate about options at the end-of-life. The guests were mostly members of The Advocates, a group of individuals co-chaired by Carol Doll, Gretchen de Baubigny, Lisa Goldman, Deborah Hannah, Ellen Newman, Helen Hilton Raiser, Mary Poland and Merla Zellerbach, who support the cause and are planning a May 9th Lunch for Life event at the Westin St. Francis.
