One of the best places to usher in the brand new year is at the Davies Symphony Hall New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball. It is slated to be one of the most elegant and alluring New Year’s Eve celebrations in San Francisco. To start the evening, each guest will be given a complimentary mask and invited to enjoy cocktail hour with The Martini Brothers. Next, the San Francisco Symphony will perform some exquisite Viennese classics and songbook favorites, joined by conductor Michael Francis, mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and baritone Kelly Markgraf. After the concert, The Peter Mintun Orchestra will take the stage as guests take to the floor to dance the night away. At midnight, 2,014 colorful balloons will cascade from the ceiling, and the crowd will welcome 2014 in high style, with plenty of romance and excitement.

Tickets range from $85 to $195 each and are available at www.sfsymphony.org, by phone at 415-864-6000, and at the Davies Symphony Hall Box Office, on Grove Street between Van Ness Avenue and Franklin Street in San Francisco.
