St. Francis Winery & Vineyards, located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, announces a new food and wine program for 2014, called Sonoma Tastemakers, which will feature the best of Sonoma County. Each month, the St. Francis will host a different Sonoma producer, purveyor, or company in its beautiful Mission-style tasting room to share artisan products and stories. The St. Francis staff will pair wines to accompany the products and share insights on the pairing process. St. Francis Winery president & CEO Christopher Silva says, “We’ve always believed in discussing the relationship of wine and food with our guests, from our seasonal dinners to our ZAGAT-recommended Wine & Food Pairing, named ‘#1 Restaurant in America’ last month by OpenTable diners. This new program gives us the opportunity to celebrate all of the wonderful producers in Sonoma County and will allow our guests to experience wine tasting in a new way.”
