On May 2, Raphael House’s Board of Directors chair Kate Smith joined co-chairs
Amy Lebastchi, Marny Homan, and Vanessa Welstead to celebrate Raphael House’s 42 years of service to the community. Raphael House has transitioned more than 19,000 Bay Area children and their parents from homelessness into self-sustaining futures, achieving the positive societal impact of moving families to stable housing with an 85 percent success rate.
The gala was themed Once Upon a Time and celebrated the idea of fairytales that do come true. Dominic Phillips Event Marketing created a whimsical, dreamlike décor to match the mood. A cocktails and Champagne reception and silent auction were followed by dinner, and an exciting live auction was held before dessert. Dancing to the tunes of Stylus Entertainment DJs ended the evening on a high note.
